Highlights:

✶ Driving and arriving to our lodge blindfolded. Through the gateway... all senses heightened.

✶ Such talented young musicians!! A song is born: UM BALA LAY YA. Also, learning one of Felipe's bands songs in Portuguese. Other songs as well... Tom Petty, Bob Marley, Coldplay, and then perhaps our best, Seven Nation Army by the White Stripes. 

✶ Adventure up to the Buddhist Temples and a special guided tour. A wondrous place where the elements feel very alive. We asked everyone to pick their "Element Mentor" for the Fall season. Then we came back down and did our first Sit Spot. 30 minutes of quiet witnessing in nature, as the sun was setting on the valley.

✶ Outdoor (cattail seed-spreading) pillow fight! Wrestling at night under the moon! 

✶ Storytelling around the fire at night. Closing Council circle. Yummy food throughout!
