Adventure Mentoring - Fall 2024

Three separate overnight guided experiences:

WHAT IS ADVENTURE MENTORING?

Our curriculum:

✶ Creating healthy relationships with self, others, and mother nature.

✶ Discovery. Going new places for the first time. Exploring our greater region, bushwhacking, surfing, river floats, nighttime wilderness adventures, as well as introducing sit spots (quiet nature witnessing).

✶ Building and Creating. Songs, Bands, Businesses, Structures, Plays, and more...

✶ Inspired community service

✶ Everybody will be drumming, dancing, singing, and storytelling around the fire.

We are going to encourage and challenge your kids to create things that are meaningful and exciting to them; the things that light them up.

Currently for youth 11-12 years old excited to get out and use their hands, feet, voices and imagination— to build, to explore, to learn about themselves, and to create incredible moments.

As guides we are helping youth to develop more compassion and curiosity, with themselves and with each other. Always creating a safe place to learn---to explore---the emerging parts of themselves as they are growing and changing. The goal is to do all this while having the best time possible! To celebrate them, to challenge them, to encourage them during this amazing phase of their lives'.

STEP ONE
Please check out our Fall 2024 Gallery. This will catch you up on the adventures, the moments, the friendships, the music, etc. We encourage you to show this to your child and see if it sparks their interest.

STEP TWO
Tell us a bit about your family in the space provided.
✶ How are your child’s relationships? With you? With their peers?
✶ Where does your child need support?
✶ Where do you as a parent need support?
✶ Tell us about your parenting styles, your family values.

STEP THREE
We will get back to you asap and set a time to communicate by phone/zoom. During this call we will schedule your child’s free discovery day. This will give them the opportunity to see how they feel; to meet the mentors, the group, to see everything in action!

STEP FOUR
The Fall Adventure Mentoring Program is $1,500—three installments of $500/month. This includes everything, the mentorship, the after school adventures, and the guided overnights.

We prorate the tuition where ever your family enters the program.
